##6 Problems With Computer Speaker System

Computer speakers are a great addition to anybodies computer system. For amateur or a portion of the general population is usually no problem in setting up a computer speaker system. Below we have listed the six main issues people may have with their computer speaker system.

1. There is no sound at all. Generally, if nothing happens, and you do not have sound at all then it is usually easy solution. The first thing to check is the socket you have to connect the speakers. At the sound card is usually some sockets for microphone or line out etc. Check your speakers are plugged into speakers or headphones output socket. This may sound obvious, but if your speakers are powered, you have them installed or mounted battery?

2.'s Voice was very quiet. If you have some noise but it was very quiet there may be a number of solutions. Most powered computer speaker system has a volume control. Check that it is not only turned down low, set it at a higher level and check your voice again. If the volume level is set high enough then the problem may be with the master volume control on your computer. This is not a physical button and you should find it on your operating system. You can get access to this in Windows by going to your control panel and found the voice control, master volume and balance controls can be set from here. If this also fails then you need to check you have all the correct drivers for your sound card.

3. There is a place to plug my computer into my speakers. Contrary to popular belief, not every computer is able to create a sound as standard. You need a sound card, this is often built into the mother board but a separate computer often will give a much better sound and much more possibilities. You can not just plug the speakers into the computer, the output of the computer is often just a headphone socket and needs to be strengthened.

4. The sound quality is terrible. There may be many causes of poor sound quality, but the main problem is usually a lack of compatible drivers. Update your sound card drivers from the manufacturer's site. If you are using a surround sound system you may have plugged the speakers into the wrong socket, this will cause the system to sound boring as speakers cancel each other out or noise may sound like it came from the wrong side.

5. Wireless speakers I was hoarse. Wireless computer speakers are a great invention and can tidy up some cables but they come with problems. If the speakers are out of range of the transmitter or obstructed hoarseness will appear and hiss. Although the sound quality is usually good, wireless speakers generally do not have as good a range as speaker cables, especially if they are discounted models.

6. The speakers make a weird noise when on high volume. Speakers may not be strong enough for you to use. You need to make sure that you buy a computer speaker system that will be hard enough for you, the bass response is important when gaming. You want to feel the room shake. Check the battery or power supply to the amplifier and check for any errors on the speakers. If you can see the speaker paper check for damage, if it is torn or has a hole in it will sound boring, will lack the higher frequencies and the bass will sound distorted.
